Three to Get Married
As it is impossible to have rain without clouds, so it is impossible to understand love without God.
-- Bishop Fulton Sheen
Pope Leo XIII
Marriage has God for its Author, and was from the very beginning a kind of foreshadowing of the incarnation of His Son; and therefore there abides in it a something holy and religious; not extraneous, but innate; not derived from men, but implanted by nature.
Grace A Dieu
Accept God’s will spontaneously and completely. Do now await understanding, which may or may not ever come. If understanding comes at some point, great. If not, you will have trusted God, accepted His will and you will be nestled in the palm of His hand. That is enough.
Special Prayer
There is a beautiful shrine in Robinsonville WI called Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help, it is where Mary the Queen of Heaven appeared to Adele Brise.
Please say a prayer of hope for that shrine.
Why Do Catholics Pray the Rosary?
By the 13th century, people wanted to observe traditional prayer times with private devotions. Because people could not read, they could not pray the psalms. Eventually they substituted 150 Our Fathers for the 150 Psalms Later the Our Fathers were replaced with more simple Hail Mary's, spaced with meditation on the lives of Jesus and Mary. St. Dominic spread the popularity of devotion of the
rosary through his preaching.
October is a month in which devotion is particularly shown to the Virgin Mary.
Fire Survivor
A stone carving of the Virgin Mary is all that stands after a fire destroyed Charity Chapel April 28 at Little Portion Hermitage near Berryville, Ark. The Brothers and Sisters of Charity also lost their common center in the fire.
